The morning lecture program will focus on flax from the perspective of history, the present, and the future. The afternoon program will be dedicated to textile processing of nettle.

During the lunch break will be available different tools for flax processing.

(1m2 lnu participants can bring their own flax.)

After the end of the official program, different tools for flax processing will be again available. 

(1m2 lnu participants can bring their own flax.)

The program will be simultaneously translated into Czech / German.

It is not necessary to register in advance. Participants may join only part of the program.

The pilot edition of the project 1 m² of Flax in the Czech Republic is organized by Happy Materials in cooperation with the partner organization TextilHandWerk e.V., which organizes 1qm Lein in Germany. The project 1 m² of Flax is supported by the Czech-German Future Fund. The Crafts Live demonstration is supported by the Liberec Region.
